- Rava / Semolina - 1 Cup
- Water - 2 cups
- Peas, Beans , Potato,Carrots [ Total of approximately 100 grams]
- 1 Large onion
- 1 Tomato
- Fine cut ginger/ Paste
- Mustard seeds , Curry leaves , Urad dhal, channa dhal for seasoning.
- Red Chillies- 2-3 , Asafoetida 1 Pinch for seasoning
- Green chillies- 3-4
- Finely chopped coriander
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Fry the rava in Oil or Ghee till it gives a good aroma and keep it aside.
- Parboil the vegetables and keep aside.
- Now, add some oil into a pan and season with mustard seeds , urad dhall, channa dhal, curry leaves , ginger paste, turmeric , asafoetida and red chillies. After 3-4 minutes , add the cut green chillies.
- Add the onions to this mixture and fry until soft . At this stage , add the parboiled vegetables into this pan and saute for a few minutes.
- Now , mix the fried rava and the vegetable mixture adding 11/2 - 2 cups of water with the required amount of salt
- Keep the mixture covered for 5-10 minutes in low flame.
- Garnish with finely cut Coriander leaves and finely cut tomatoes
- Add 2-3 teaspoons of ghee [ Optional for taste]
