Dosa

Ingredients

Raw rice              1cup
Parboiled rice      2 cups
(Idly rice)
Urad dhal             1 cup
Fenugreek            2 tsps (optional)
Salt to taste
Oil
Preparation

Soak the urad dhal and rice separately for 4 hours.Using a grinder or mixie grind the urad dhal to a soft and fine paste adding fenugreek.Then grind together the raw rice and parboiled rice (idly rice) to medium thick paste and mix it with urad dhal paste.The Dosa batter should be of thin consistency.Add salt.and mix well.Leave to ferment so that it forms air bubbles.Take a an ordinnary tawa or non non-stick tawa and make dosas of your own choice thin roast or medium thick however you wish. Drizzle oil till it turns golden yellow or medium brown and turn it aside. Now the Dosa is ready to eat.Coconut chutney and onion chutney goes well with Dosa.
