Beans Usli

Ingredients

Beans                      300 gms
Green chillies         2
Red chillies            2
Mustrad seeds        2 tsps
Oil for seasoning              
Salt to taste

For dal paste
Channa dal   1/2 cup
Thoovar dal   1 cupUrad dal
Urad dal         2 tbs

Preparation

Wash and cut the beans into 1/2 centimeter sized dices.Cook the beans in salted water for 5 mins.Soak the dals together for 1/2 hour and drain and grind them toa thick coarse paste with red chillies and salt
and hing powder.Add water if required.Put it on a greased plate and steam in a pressure cooker or idly steamer.Steam for 15-20 mins.Invert the greased tray and crumble the steamed dal paste into a coarse powder with your fingers.Heat oil in a pan and temper mustard seeds,hing,curry leaves.Stir fry on a slow flame add the cooked beans with crumbled dal and salt.Toss on high heat for 2-3 mins.Reduce heat and ccook stirring frequently for some more time.Now the Beans Usli is ready.
