Saag (Sarson ka Saag-Mustard leaves)

Ingredients


Fresh mustard leaves        1 bunch
Fresh spinach leaves         1 bunch
Oil                                      3 tbs
Ginger sliced                      2" pieces           
Garlic sliced                       6-8 cloves
Onions sliced  medium       2
Green chillies                      4
Salt to taste

Preparation

Heat 3 tbs of oil in a pan,add ginger garlic/paste and the sliced onions and saute for 3-4mins.Roughly chop the mustard leaves and spinach leaves and add it to the pan and stir for a few mins.Break the chillies and add it to the paste.Add salt to taste and stir well.Let it cook till the greens turn soft.Cool it and grind to a coarse paste.Tranfer it to a pan add the remaining oil and mix.Simmer for 2-3 mins and serve hot.
