Ingredients
Fresh palak 250 gms
Paneer 100 gms
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Onion large 2
Ginger/garlic paste 2 tsps
Tomato puree 4 tbsp
Ghee 1 tsp
Oil 3 tbs
Garam masala 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Preparation
Clean and wash the palak and boil in water. Cool it and grind the palak with green chillies to a smooth paste.Cut the paneer into 1" cube pieces.and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.Keep it on a absorbent paper for the oil to drain.Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions till they are soft and tender, add cumin seeds along with ginger/garlic paste and saute for 3-4 mins. Add the tomato puree and cook on a slow flame till the oil separates from the pan.Add the palak puree and stir. If the gravy seems a bit dry you can add some more water. When the gravy comes to boil add the fried paneer cubes, garam masala and salt. Stir in lemon juice and finally add fresh cream.
